Email StoryEmail Story Write to the editorWrite to the editor Print StoryPrint Story Kakdwip (west Bengal), Jan 29: Taking a potshot at Railway Minister and Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee, West Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee today said there were advertisements in newspapers every day that new railway factories were being set up while the railway ministry said there was no money for projects."Everyday advertisements are being given in newspapers that new railway factories are being built. Where are those factories? The railway ministry is stating that there is no money for projects," Bhattacharjee said at a Communist Party of India-Marxist rally at Kakdwip in South 24 Parganas district."I will tell the young people that do not believe in those advertisements. It is not easy to set up new factories. No plant will be built," he said."Do not commit mistakes, do not support Trinamool Congress," he added.Criticising the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance government for the skyrocketing prices of essential commodities, the chief minister said if the union government could not take steps to rein in the soaring prices, then he alone could not be able to control it in the state."You know that for the past two to three months prices of essentials are soaring. While the prime minister and the finance minister are talking about lower inflation rate, the rate is actually becoming higher," he added. (IANS)
