Mumbai: Praveen Mutalik has been arrested by Maharashtra's Anti-Terror Squad (ATS) for allegedly executing the bomb blasts in Malegaon in 2008.
He was allegedly one of three people who planted a bomb in September 2008 on a motorcycle parked near a local mosque during the month of Ramzan. Seven people were killed in the explosion.
Mutalik is a resident of Karnataka.
The two others who worked with Mutalik - Ramji Kalsangara and Sandeep Dange - are yet to be traced.
Earlier, the ATS had arrested 11 persons including key accused Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur and Lt. Colonel Shrikant Prasad Purohit.
